Springwood students enjoy a wealth of learning opportunities outside the traditional classroom setting. These educational trips and activities provide a fun and memorable way for teachers to augment their teaching of a variety of concepts.
In recent years, students have traveled to Jekyll Island to study marine and plant biology, rafted down the Chattahoochee River to promote river conservation, and toured The Bodies exhibit in Atlanta for an in-depth study of anatomy and physiology. Classes also travel to 4-H camp for a variety of science and nature studies. And students travel to Lineville, Alabama to the Servants in Faith and Technology camp for a third-world missions experience.
