PTO Mission Statement:
The Mission of the Springwood School Parent Teacher Organization is to help our students and staff provide a quality education in a nurturing environment focusing on mind, body, and spirit.
PTO Annual Fund Raising - Wrapping Paper and other products through QSP, Inc. The fundraiser begins in September ends in October. Springwood also benefits from online sales throughout the school year, as long as the orders are identified for our school.
The newest PTO fundraiser is the Springwood School Throw. Information will be available first week in March 2010, with material on display in AFC Building.
PTO has provided funding for various projects for Springwood through the years. In 2009, the Media Center received $10,000.00 for the purchase of new reference books for several age groups. This year, our PTO provided $7,200 towards our school gym lobby and concession stand renovation. More projects will be announced for the current school year.
